
Los Angeles – New York
The race starts on June 19, 2011 from Huntington Beach (California) and in 70 days crosses the United States. Of the 21 runners who started the race, only 8 reach New York on August 27. Alex comes in fourth place.
On August 22, in the last week of the race, Alex becomes a dad for the second time. In New York he reunites with Sofia, his first two-year-old daughter, with whom he runs the last two hundred meters of this 5200 km race.



The LA-NY Footrace was not only a very tough competition, which led the athletes to overcome deserts, mountains, difficulties of all kinds, fears and pains, but also and above all a journey through a wonderful country that knows how to put a spell on you at every Kilometer.
